The Royal Thai Embassy, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Thailand and the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage of the State of Qatar is bringing the Thai cultural troupe back to Qatar to perform for everyone, under the name "The 2nd Amazing Thailand - Enchanted Cultural Show". This performance is to follow last year's successful event at KATARA. For this year, there will be numbers of new performances, as well as handicrafts demonstration. The event will take place at Qatar National Theatre, on Sunday, 2 March 2014, at 18.30 hrs. No admission fee. Cultural shows featuring dances from regions of Thailand will be staged at locations in Qatar from Thursday, 27 February, to Sunday, 2 March.

This is the second year the Thai embassy in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Thailand is bringing a cultural troupe to Qatar to perform dances aimed at promoting Thai culture here.

The show comprises classical dance, masked dance, contemporary dance, traditional martial arts and traditional dance from across Thailand. 

In addition, there will be a display of Thai handicraft, including umbrella painting, fruit and soap carving and silk weaving.

Mahatsajan – Wondrous Thai Cultural Show will be held at Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel from 7pm to 8pm on Thursday and Friday. 

On Friday, there will be a Thai handcraft demonstration during the brunch from 12.30pm to 4pm. 

Also on Friday the Amazing Thailand Festival will be held at Al Khor Mall.

It consists of a cultural show from 6pm to 6.45pm at the Food Court Area and a Thai handicraft demonstration from 5pm. 

The main event will be The Second Amazing Thailand – Enchanted Cultural Show at Qatar National Theatre from 6.30pm to 8pm on Sunday. 

The event, organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, will feature dances and handicraft demonstrations.
