On 21 January 2015, H.E. Dr.Tej Bunnag, Assistant Secretary-General for Administration of the Thai Red Cross Society of Thailand and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, together with H.E. Mr. Piroon Laismit, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, represented the Royal Thai Government in presenting the monetary support of 100,000 Thai Baht (11,020.37 Qatar Riyal) for the humanitarian works of Qatar Red Crescent to Mr. Saleh Bin Ali Al-Mohannadi, Secretary-General of Qatar Red Crescent as well as took the opportunity to discuss about the possible cooperation between the two organizations in the future. 

 

On the same date, H.E. Dr.Tej Bunnag had accepted the invitation of Dr. Gerd Nonneman, Dean of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Qatar, to give a special presentation at Georgetown University’s on “Thai Foreign Policy in Long-Term Perspective: Navigating the Regional and the Global”. The presentation was exclusively organized for H.E. Dr.Tej Bunnag for the Dean’s Distinguished Lecture series which was well received by the participation from the diplomatic corps in Qatar, academics and the students of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Qatar.
