On 12 August 2016 at 11.15 am. (Local time), the Royal Thai Embassy organized the congratulatory ceremony to commemorate the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary. The Ceremony was started with H.E. Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of Thailand, led the Thai community in Qatar to deliver the congratulatory speech, singing the tribute songs for Her Majesty the Queen and the candle lighting ceremony. A documentary short-film about Her Majesty the Queen’s Royal activities was also screened to the gathering. In this occasion as the Mother Day in Thailand, Madam Kanya Udonsilp and Madam Sakorn Wongvichai representing the Thai community in Qatar also delivered remarks expressing their feeling as mothers and their love toward children. Approximately 100 Thai people and Friends of Thailand in Qatar attended the Ceremony.
