The Thai Trade Center in Dubai and the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Thailand, led a Thai business delegation from 18 manufacturers and exporters of furniture and lifestyle products to visit the State of Qatar during 21 - 23 September 2016. A Business Matching forum between the Thai and local entrepreneurs was arranged at the Mövenpick Hotel West Bay Doha on 22 September 2016.

On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, hosted dinner in honour of the said officials from the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand and the Thai business delegation on 22 September 2016.

The Embassy also invited Dr. Eknarin Sriprasert, CEO of WEN Qatar company, which is one of Thai construction companies in the State of Qatar, to share his experience on doing business in the State of Qatar.
