On 11 July 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, presented a copy of the Letter of Credentials to H.E. Dr. Ahmad Hassen Al-Hammadi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, thus marks the official assumption of duty as Ambassador of Thailand to Qatar. Both sides discussed close and cordial bilateral relationships between the Kingdom of Thailand and the State of Qatar. H.E. Ambassador reiterated his firm commitment to continue advancing close relations, enhance bilateral dynamics, and explore other areas of collaboration between Thailand and Qatar. H.E. Secretary General welcomed and congratulated the Ambassador on his assumption of duty and reaffirmed readiness to continue closely working with the Ambassador and the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha. On this occasion, H.E. Ibrahim Yousif Abdullah Fakhroo, Director of the Protocol Department of Qatar, H.E. Yousef bin Sultan Yousef Laram, Director of the Asian Affairs Department of Qatar, together with the officers from the Royal Thai Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar are also attending.
