On 4 March 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, extended a warm welcome to Executives from Banpu Public Company Limited (PCL) during a courtesy call while they were visiting Doha to explore business and investment opportunities, particularly in energy and clean energy sector in Qatar.
In addition, H.E. Ambassador led the delegation to an official meeting with Mr. Mohamed Bin Ahmed Al Obaidly and Mr. Mohamed Bin Johar Al Mohamed, Board Members of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI). During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the landscape and future trends of the global energy industry, discussing ways to expand cooperation between Thailand and Qatar. H.E. Ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening business dynamics and promoting investment from both Thailand and Qatar, especially the green energy investment which will contribute and pave the way to the collective and sustainable development.
