On 19 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, attended the monthly reception of Asian Ambassadors' Group, hosted by H.E. Mr. Muhemmed Aejaz, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Qatar.
The Asian Ambassadors’ Group reception is a monthly gathering comprising of Ambassadors and Chargé d'Affaires a.i. from 23 Asian countries with diplomatic missions in Qatar. Participating countries span from South Asia, South East Asia, East Asia, Central Asia, and Oceania, with each taking turns hosting the event. The gathering serves as a forum to exchange views and insights based on common interests and mutual benefits. It also aims to foster close and cordial networks among the diplomatic community in Qatar.
