On 4 January 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, attended the monthly luncheon of Asian Ambassadors' Group, hosted by H.E. Dr. Naresh Bikram Dhakal, Ambassador of Nepal to the State of Qatar.
This luncheon marked the first event of the Asian Ambassadors’ Group for 2024, which is a monthly gathering comprising of Ambassadors and Chargé d'Affaires a.i. from 22 Asian countries with diplomatic missions in Qatar. Participating countries span from South Asia, South East Asia, East Asia, to Central Asia, with each taking turns hosting the event.
The luncheon serves as a forum to exchange views and information based on common interests and mutual benefits. It also aims to foster close and cordial networks among the diplomatic community in Qatar.
