On 25 February 2026, Mr. Kit Devahastin, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy, attended the Iftar for Ambassadors to the State of Qatar, hosted by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, at Lusail Palace.

The Iftar is an important religious observance that marks the end of the daily fasting in Ramadan, the holiest month in Islam. Ramadan is a time for spiritual self-improvement and exercising perseverance in adversity through fasting from sunrise to sunset, and also abstain from negative emotions and religiously forbidden acts. Good deeds such as charity and sharing are greatly encouraged during this holy month.
