On 2 October 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, along with Embassy officials, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Majed Mohammed Al Ansari, Advisor to Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, on the occasion of the Ambassador’s assumption of duty. During the meeting, both sides discussed overall bilateral relations between Thailand and Qatar, economic cooperation in fields of medicine and food security, and prospects of trilateral partnership for sustainable development, as well as preparations for upcoming High-Level visits. Moreover, H.E. Ambassador commended Qatar's significant role in the international community and expressed his appreciation for the Ministry's support for the Embassy while H.E. the Advisor and Spokesperson commended Thailand's advanced medical infrastructure and constructive role in partnership for development. He also welcomed H.E. Ambassador to Qatar and reaffirmed the Ministry's readiness to working closely with the Royal Thai Embassy in its endeavors.
