On 17 January 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha hosted a dinner for the Thai national football team and staff at the Dusit Hotel & Suites Doha, as an encouragement for their participation in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup in Qatar. H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, praised the Thai national football team for their performance in the first match, extended his encouragement to the team for the upcoming matches in the competition, and expressing confidence that the Thai team will be able to achieve satisfactory results.

The Royal Thai Embassy invites everyone to attend, and show support the Thai national football team in the AFC Asian Cup 2023. During the Group Stage, Thailand will face Oman on 21 January 2024, 17.30 hrs. at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, and Saudi Arabia on 25 January 2024, 18.00 hrs. at Education City Stadium.
