On 19 September 2023, Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, and his spouse hosted a dinner in honor of the volunteer teachers from the Thai Language and Culture School. The purpose of this event was to strengthen the network and express gratitude to these five dedicated teachers who have been wholeheartedly devoted to promoting and raising awareness of Thai culture and language among Thai children and youth in Qatar. The Thai Language and Culture School in Qatar plays a pivotal role in the promotion and preservation of Thai culture within the country. During the event, H.E. Ambassador presented a certificate of appreciation to Ms. Thanutchaporn Limpiwun, who has completed her tenure as a volunteer teacher. This certificate acknowledges her unwavering commitment, enthusiasm, and dedication to fostering an understanding of the Thai language and culture.

The Thai Language and Culture School in Qatar was established in 2009 by a group of dedicated Thai volunteers with the primary objective of educating Thai youth in Qatar about the Thai language, traditions, and culture. At present, the school boasts a team of five volunteer teachers, led by Ms. Kongkan Chitratanachinda as the Principal since 2016, along with Ms. Yuvadee Yodsuk, Ms. Krittaya Vuthipramote, Ms. Sasimon Ammarit, and Ms. Thanutchaporn Limpiwun.
