On 13 January 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, along with his spouse and Embassy officials, met with the Thai national football team participating in the AFC Asian Cup 2023 in Doha, which takes place on 10 January – 10 February 2024. During the meeting, H.E. Ambassador presented a bouquet of flowers to Mr. Masatada Ishii, the head coach, and extended encouragement to the athletes and the team staff on behalf of the Royal Thai Government and Thai community in Qatar. He wished the Thai national football team success in this prestigious competition.
