On 30 July 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, along with Embassy officials, met with Engineer Abdulla Ahmad Al-Karrani, Acting Assistant for General Services Affairs of the Ministry of Municipality of Qatar, and Engineer Hamad Al-Baher, Director of Recycling and Waste Treatment Department. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on policy making and cooperation in recycling and waste management, including potential joint activities to promote circular economy and address societal needs in pollution reduction and environmental protection in order to jointly achieve national priorities for sustainable development.
