On 18 December 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Doha, witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. The MOU seeks to enhance collaboration in the development of women's and youth football teams, as well as in coaching, research, legal matters, and referee development. The agreement was signed by Mrs. Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand, and Mr. Yasser Al-Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. Moreover, on 17 December 2024, the Football Association of Thailand and the Qatar Football Association signed an MOU to promote youth football development and facilitate friendly matches across all age categories between two countries.
