On 4 December 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha organized a ceremony to commemorate the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Thailand’s Father’s Day 5 December 2024.

H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, presided over the ceremony, accompanied by Embassy officials, spouses, and staff. Together, they paid homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, reflecting on his remarkable contributions to the nation and his enduring legacy. As part of the commemorative activities, the Royal Thai Embassy contributed to the local community by donating 200 bottles of drinking water to mosques in the Embassy’s vicinity. This donation aimed to support those attending Friday prayers, extending goodwill on this significant occasion.

Additionally, on 30 November 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted another commemorative ceremony to honor the benevolence and legacy of His Majesty. The event featured an oath-taking ceremony, pledging commitment to the nation, and a candle-lighting ceremony in remembrance of His Majesty’s profound impact. H.E. Ambassador inaugurated the event, which was attended by over 70 participants, including Embassy officials, spouses, staff, and members of the Thai community residing in Qatar.
