On 26 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, along with Embassy officials, met with the chef and Thai employees of Sabai Thai Restaurant at The Westin Doha Hotel. During this visit, H.E. Ambassador inquired about the well-being of more than 10 Thai employees working at the hotel. Moreover, he commended the team for their dedication in promoting Thai food and culture through collaboration with the Embassy in the award ceremony for the “Extraordinary Escape in Thailand Photo Contest” as a way to promote Thai cuisine in Qatar as well as foster stronger people-to-people relations between Thailand and Qatar.
