On 12 September 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha organized this meeting via video conference. H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, chaired the meeting, which featured representatives from various Thai agencies with jurisdiction over the State of Qatar, including those based in Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, participants shared information about their respective offices' past activities and engaged in discussions to enhance collaboration for future endeavors. Topics covered included strengthening Thailand-Qatar cooperation in political and security matters, promoting Thai trade and entrepreneurship in Qatar, providing consular assistance and protection for Thai citizens, safeguarding the interests of Thai labor in Qatar, and boosting Thai tourism in the region. Additionally, the meeting explored opportunities for Thailand to play an active role in various international events and conferences scheduled to take place in Qatar in the future.
