On 7 August 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, held a meeting with Ms. Kongkan Chitratanachinda, the Principal of the Thai Language and Thai Culture School in Qatar. The discussion centered on strategies for conducting classes and activities in the post-COVID-19 era, with a strong emphasis on enhancing the school’s involvement and enhancement in cultural and Thainess events organized by the Embassy.

In a gesture of support and collaboration, on 9 August 2023, H.E. Ambassador presented the school with a fund of 50,000 THB from the Royal Thai Government. This financial support is designated to contribute to the school’s operations, particularly in relation to Thai language and culture classes, as well as cultural activities for Thai Youth in Qatar. During the event, H.E. Ambassador expressed sincere appreciation for the School’s significant contributions in nurturing the youth and advancing the understanding of Thai language and culture. This unwavering commitment plays a crucial role in shaping a sense of Thai identity and fostering cultural awareness among the youth in Qatar and stands as a testament to the Thai government's commitment to promoting educational and cultural exchange opportunities abroad for the younger generation.
