On 10 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, along with his spouse, attended the opening ceremony of the Thai Language and Thai Culture School for the 3rd term of 2023 – 2024 academic year. During the event, H.E. Ambassador reiterated the Embassy’s readiness to host the school and future activities of the Thai community in Qatar. This 3rd term marks the first time that the school is held at the new chancery, providing an environment conductive to school activities.
The Thai Language and Thai Culture School in Qatar was established in 2009 by a dedicated group of Thai volunteers with the goal of educating Thai youth in Qatar about the Thai language, traditions and culture.
