On 9 August 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, presented a contribution of 50,000 THB from the Royal Thai Government to the Thai Community in Qatar. Mr. Noppadol Penglong, the President of the Thai Community in Qatar, received the funds on behalf of the Community. This support aims to bolster the efforts of the Community in strengthening and promoting unity within the Thai community in Qatar through various activities, as well as enhancing the well-being and providing assistance to Thai individuals in distress or facing emergency situation in Qatar. During the event, H.E. Ambassador expressed his high admiration and gratitude to the Community for their continuous commitment to public service, particularly in offering assistance to fellow Thais during challenging times.
