H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, welcomed H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand during their official visit to Qatar between 24 - 26 July 2024.

On 25 July 2024, H.E. Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs met with H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, to exchange views on developments in the Middle East, including assistance for Thai hostages in Gaza. Additionally, both sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation in all aspects.

During this occasion, H.E. Vice Minister and the delegation visited the new premises and the consular section of the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, which began operations on 1 May 2024.
