For passport holders of Iraq, Afghanistan, and Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visa approval process may take 4 - 6 weeks.
- Apply for visa at https://thaievisa.go.th/ (from 19 March 2024 onward)
- Refer to the requirements for each type of visa listed on the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha’s website https://doha.thaiembassy.org/en/page/visa
- Applicant who do not have Residence Permit in Qatar (QID) is advised to apply for a Non-Immigrant visa only at the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General in their home/residence country or at the designated Royal Thai Embassy. Therefore, travellers are advised to contact the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate-General to find out where they may apply for a visa to Thailand before departure.
- Foreign nationals in Thailand or outside of Qatar cannot apply for e-Visa with the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha.
For passport holders of Nigeria, must submit Clearance Certificate issued by N.D.L.E.A in Nigeria which attested by the Royal Thai Embassy in Abuja with the visa application.
