By the Ministerial Regulation of the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Thailand dated 30 April 2019, Thailand will implement a temporary Visa on Arrival (VoA) fee exemption scheme, starting from 1 May 2019 to
31 October 2019.
The scheme applies to nationals and holders of passports/travel documents of the countries/territory who are entitled to apply for VoA at the designated immigration checkpoints. It is applicable only for tourism purposes and stay for up to 15 days.
During the aforementioned period, nationals and holders of passports/travel documents of Bulgaria, Bhutan, China (excluding Hong Kong and Macao), Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Malta, Mexico, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Uzbekistan and Vanuatu are exempted from Visa on Arrival (VoA) fee of 2,000 Baht.
