On 15 November 2019, the Thai Language and Thai Culture School in Qatar, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, organized Loy Krathong Festival 2019 at the Embassy. The festival featured Thai food stalls from famous Thai restaurants in Doha and Thai community, DIY Krathong making and Krathong floating activity, Thai cultural performances from students, Miss Nopphamas talent contest and Krathong contest.  More than 200 visitors including Thai community and foreigners attended the festival.
