The Royal Thai Embassy in Doha Organized Second Repatriation Flight for Thai Nationals

On 16 May 2020 at 01.00 am., H.E. Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, together with officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, facilitated the second repatriation flight for 155 Thai nationals at Hamad International Airport, Doha. The repatriation flight WY2668 / WY0815 (Doha-Muscat-Bangkok) operated by Oman Air departed Doha on 16 June 2020 at 04.35 hrs. (Qatar local time) and was scheduled to arrive  Suvarnabhumi International Airport on 16 June 2020 at 18.00 hrs (Thailand local time). The Royal Thai Embassy’s officials together with the airline staffs helped facilitate check-in process at the airport and checked all required documents namely travel certificates and fit-to-fly health certificates, as well as distributed face masks and gloves to the passengers. All passengers were placed in 14-day state quarantine at government-designated facilities upon arrival in Thailand.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Doha wishes to express its gratitude to the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, the Department of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar, the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, the Hamad International Airport, Regency Travel and Tours, and Oman Air for providing assistance and cooperation in making this repatriation flight possible.
