On 16 August 2013, the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Community in Doha co-hosted the Thai Mother's Day Celebration at the Royal Thai Embassy. The event was a tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand on the occasion of Her Majesty's 81st Birthday Anniversary and was attended by 120 Thais from all walks of life.
