On 30 April - 2 May 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy to the State of Qatar and other six ASEAN member countries in Qatar which include Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam, in cooperation with Katara Cultural Village, had organized the ASEAN Festival 2015 at Katara Cultural Village, Doha. The Festival had showcased the culture of each country through tourist destinations, food, handicraft products and cultural performances. For Thailand, the Royal Thai Embassy had well received support and cooperation from the Thai community in Qatar who had showcased the sense of Thainess to the people living in Qatar and help made the Festival a highly success. Reportedly, there were over 37,000 people attending the Festival throughout 3 days.
