On 3 September 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy to the State of Qatar had organized “Thailand’s Cultural Night 2015 with Traditional Thai Puppet Show (Joe Louis) and Tasting Thai Food” at Grand Hyatt Doha in order promote the heritage of Thai puppet arts to the Qatari public including high level officials, diplomatic corps, distinguished guests from business sector, academic and press by world class Natayasala Traditional Thai Puppet Theatre (Joe Louis) who won awards from the World Festival of Puppet Art held in Prague, the Czech Republic, twice. On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy also aimed to promoted Thai cuisine in response to the Thai Kitchen to the World Policy by showcasing live cooking as well as ready-to-eat Thai dishes for the guest to taste. In addition, the Royal Thai Embassy had also presented the book named “Discovering Thai Cuisine in Qatar”, as a gift for the guests who attended the event as a handbook for them to try cooking Thai cuisine by themselves or tasting Thai food at the Thai restaurants in Qatar recommended by the Embassy. The event also aims to celebrate the commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the State of Qatar this year. The event was well participated by 180 guests.
