On 7 – 9 November 2015, H.E. General Anantaporn Kanjanarat, Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Thailand, together with high-level officials from Ministry of Energy of Thailand and PTT Public Company Limited visited the State of Qatar in order to attend the 6th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable – AMER 6) at Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel. During the said visit, H.E. the Minister of Energy of Thailand had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Dr. Mohamed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy of the State of Qatar, in which both sides agreed to strengthen the cordial relations and expand areas of cooperation between the two countries. The Thai side also expressed its readiness to support the State of Qatar in the field of food security. 

 

On 8 November 2015, H.E. Mr. Piroon Laismit, Ambassador of Thailand to the State    of Qatar, hosted lunch in honour of H.E. the Minister of Energy of Thailand and his delegation at the residence of the Ambassador.
