On 18 June 2016, H.E. Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, hosted the Iftar Dinner to Thai Muslim students in Qatar during the holy month of Ramadan at the Residence of the Ambassador. Over 30 people, including Thai diplomats, staff and family of the Royal Thai Embassy, and 14 Thai Muslim students in Qatar, participated in this event. 

 

Earlier on 17 June 2016, H.E. the Ambassador and officials also visited the Thai Muslim students at their dormitory in Doha to meet and discuss the living conditions of the students who received scholarship from the Qatari government to study at secondary level in the academic year 2016, 4 students have completed their education and returned to Thailand while 7 new intakes will arrive in August.
