On 10 December 2016, H.E. Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Embassy’s officials visited 21 Thai Muslim students at their dormitory in Doha to meet and discuss their living conditions as well as their study plan for the year 2017. On this occasion, a financial support from the Embassy for the orientation and familiarization trip of new students as well as some snacks were given to the representative of the students.

 

H.E. Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum also expressed thanks to the Dormitory Caretaker for taking a good care of Thai students during the past years. The Dormitory Caretaker expressed full admiration for the discipline and manner of Thai students, which he described as the main reason for the Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs of the State of Qatar to grant scholarships to many Thai students in the academic year 2016.
