On 20 January 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy and Thai community in Qatar organized a ceremony to mark the 100th day of the passing away of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of Thailand, delivered a tribute speech to the late King. After that, the attendants sang the Royal Anthem and the Buddhist attendants did the prayer and meditation as a homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Over 50 Thai nationals and Friends of Thailand in Qatar attended the ceremony.
