On 28 July 2016 at 11.00 hrs., the Royal Thai Embassy organized a ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 65th Birthday Anniversary at the Embassy. His Excellency Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of Thailand, led the Thai community to pay homage to the royal portraits before delivering a message to wish for the King’s good health and happiness and led the singing of the Royal Anthem.

 

On this occasion, the Buddhist attendants also prayed and mediated for 10 minutes to dedicate the merit. Approximately 70 people from the Thai community in Qatar attended the ceremony. A book of congratulations was also opened for signing by the Thai nationals during 09.00 - 17.00 hrs.
