On 1 December 2023, the Thai community enthusiastically participated in the ASEAN Community Sports Day 2023 at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST). For the first time, this sports competition brought together ASEAN communities residing in Qatar with the aim to promote unity and harmony among the various ASEAN communities. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the Indonesian community in Qatar and supported by ASEAN communities and the ASEAN Committee in Doha. In this occasion, members of the Thai community participate in football, badminton, and table tennis competitions. Moreover, this occasion provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen the sense of unity within the Thai community and foster friendships with other ASEAN communities. The Royal Thai Embassy expresses deep gratitude to all Thai participants for dedicating their time and effort, and showcasing their sporting abilities in this event.
