On 27 November 2023, Mrs. Jitsukon Paisanautphong, spouse of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Qatar, participated in the Noodle High Tea event at the Embassy of Malaysia in Doha. This event was organized by the spouses of ASEAN ambassadors to showcase the regional cuisine to members of the Qatar Women Association and other diplomatic missions. She showcased two signature Thai dishes: Phad Thai and Khanom Chor Phaka Krong. In addition to the Thai contributions, representatives from various countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Japan, and South Korea, presented their respective dishes.

The Royal Thai Embassy places great importance on promoting Thai cuisine and Thai cultural identity to strengthen mutual understanding and cordial relations between the Thai and Qatari communities. The Embassy has undertaken initiatives to boost the popularity of Thai food and enhance Thai-Qatari people-to-people relations. These initiatives involve collaborating with Thai restaurants in Qatar, conducting public relations activities with local influencers, and organizing various events such as Thai language and culture classes, Muay Thai exhibitions, photograph contests, and disseminating information about Thailand through media and publications.
