On 22 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, signed the book of condolences regarding the loss of H.E. the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and high-level officials at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Doha.

Thailand expresses its deepest condolences for the loss of His Excellency Mr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and His Excellency Mr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, among other high-level officials, who perished in a tragic helicopter crash on 19 May 2024. Thailand stands with the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran during this difficult time as a true friend for more than 400 years.
