On 25 March 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, Minister of Environment and Climate Change. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Thailand and Qatar on environmental conservation, sustainable development, and capacity-building programs.

H.E. Minister expressed readiness for potential collaboration in knowledge exchange between the two countries, particularly focusing on wildlife conservation and the management of natural resources. H.E. Ambassador commended Qatar's initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and development of ecotourism in Qatar, and reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to promoting the exchange of technological expertise and best practices for the mutual interests of both countries.
