This global horticultural exhibition took place at Al Bidda Park in Doha, Qatar, and was graced by the presence of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; Mr. Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, Prime Minister of Iraq; Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan; Mr. Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed, Prime Minister of Yemen; and Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of Djibouti, among others, also attended the event. Additionally, high-level representatives from Qatar, foreign diplomatic corps, and local media were present, totaling more than 200 attendees.

The International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha is the first-ever horticultural expo in the Middle East and Northern Africa region, an area known for its dry climate. With the theme "Green Desert, Better Environment," Expo 2023 Doha will run from 2 October 2023 to 28 March 2024, at Al Bidda Park, spanning an expansive area of over 1.7 million square meters. The Expo's primary objective is to underscore the significance of research and development in the fields of science, technology, and innovation related to desertification, a global challenge faced by many countries. The Royal Thai Embassy will actively participate in various cultural and collaborative activities within the Expo, with a focus on promoting sustainable development, addressing climate issues, and enhancing food security.
