On 10 March 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha held a ceremony to receive the royal bestowal of “Phra Phuttha Sirindhorn Theparat Mongkhol Phuwadol Santi” Buddha statue. H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by officials, spouses, and staff of the Embassy. On this occasion, H.E. Ambassador led the Embassy personnel in paying homage before the portrait of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted the "Phra Phuttha Sirindhorn Theparat Mongkhol Phuwadol Santi", which translates to "The Buddha, a divine jewel who embodies auspiciousness, bringing blessings and peace to the land." These sacred statues have been bestowed upon various institutions in Thailand and overseas, including the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha. Through this benevolent gesture, Her Royal Highness seeks to bring prosperity, peace, and protection from misfortune while fostering the enduring strength of the nation, religion, and monarchy, as well as the well-being of the Thai people and the world.
