On 25 October 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, participated in the Thai Food Festival at the Saffron Thai Restaurant in the Banyan Tree Hotel. Thoughtfully curated annually, this year’s event was held on 25 – 31 October 2024, presenting a rich array of authentic Thai cuisines and captivating Thai music performances and traditional Thai dances. The Royal Thai Embassy places significant importance on promoting Thai cuisine and identity as a significant soft power which will enhance trade, tourism and sustainable relationship between the people of Thailand and Qatar.
