Thai Snooker Players Compete in IBSF 2022 World Snooker Championship in Doha, Qatar

On 3 March 2022, H.E. Nathapol Khantahiran, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, together with officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, visited the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation (QBSF) Academy to watch Thailand’s team competing in the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) Snooker Championship held in Doha from 1 – 11 March 2022. The Thai ambassador was warmly welcomed by Mr. Mohammed Mubarak Al-Ramzani Al-Naeimi, President of Qatar Billiard and Snooker Federation. The participating players from Thailand are Nutcharat Wongharuthai, Waratthanun Sukritthanes, Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan, Ploychompoo Laokiatphong. For the Under-21 category, the players are Taweesap Kongkitchertchoo and Yanawarut Phueakklom. The team was led by Mr. Chaiyapong Kornvasurom, Team Manager, and Mr. Kittipong Pornchai, Head Coach. During the tournament, Thailand team performed outstandingly and is expected to be qualified for the final rounds. The Royal Thai Embassy in Doha appreciated the arrangements made by QBSF in hosting the World Snooker Championship Tournament in Qatar.
