On 22 October 2026, H.E. Ms. Pensom Lertsithichai, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, presided over a ceremony to pay homage on the occasion of the anniversary of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

On this occasion, H.E. Ambassador delivered remarks conveying deepest sorrow due to Her Majesty’s passing and heartfelt gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless grace and benevolence throughout her life, and led the participants to observe of a moment of silence in memory of Her Majesty as well as to reflect upon performing good deeds as a tribute.
