Non-Immigrant B visa is issued to applicants travelling to Thailand for business and employment purposes.

Duration of Visa Process:E-Visa processing time is up to 10 working days and up to 14 working days if required documents are incomplete.

BUSINESS VISIT

Required Documents:

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document (Passport/travel document must have validity of more than 6 months on travel date)
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
  3. Document indicating current location (Valid Residency Permit Card/QID)
  4. Travel booking confirmation (Round-trip ticket)
  5. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 30,000 THB (about 4,000 QAR) for single entry and 120,000 THB (about 13,000 QAR) for multiple entries e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
  6. Invitation letter from the company in Thailand

Visa Fee: 300 QAR (single entry) / 750 QAR (multiple entries)

 

EMPLOYMENT

Required Documents:

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document (Passport/travel document must have validity of more than 6 months on travel date)
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
  3. Document indicating current location (Valid Residency Permit Card/QID)
  4. Travel booking confirmation
  5. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 30,000 THB (about 4,000 QAR) e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
  6. WP3 (An approval letter from the Ministry of Labour) or work permit in case of Non-Immigrant B renewal (Japanese is waived from the requirement to submit WP3)

Visa Fee: 300 QAR (single entry)

 

EMPLOYMENT (Teacher/Academic Staff)

Required Documents:

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document (Passport/travel document must have validity of more than 6 months on travel date)
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
  3. Document indicating current location (Valid Residency Permit Card/QID)
  4. Travel booking confirmation
  5. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 30,000 THB (about 4,000 QAR) e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
  6. Letter from relevant authority such as Ministry of Education, University, International School
  7. Certificate of criminal record clearance from the country of residence (verification should not be older than 3 months and notarized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar or applicant’s diplomatic/consular mission)

Visa Fee: 300 QAR (single entry)

 

INTERNSHIP

Required Documents:

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document (Passport/travel document must have validity of more than 6 months on travel date)
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
  3. Document indicating current location (Valid Residency Permit Card/QID)
  4. Travel booking confirmation
  5. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 30,000 THB (about 4,000 QAR) e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
  6. Letter confirming the internship/participation from the company in Thailand

Visa Fee: 300 QAR (single entry)

 

Important Note:

  1. Visa fee is not refundable.
  2. At the port of entry, foreigners entering Thailand under Non-Immigrant B visa category must be able to provide proof of sufficient finances for the duration of stay in Thailand equivalent to 20,000 THB (about 3,000 QAR) per person and 40,000 THB (about 5,000 QAR) per family.
  3. Embassy staff/employees are not allowed to fill out any visa application form.
  4. The Embassy reserves the right to approve or disapprove visa application without any prejudice.
  5. The granting of visa is only a pre-entry clearance. It is not a permission to enter Thailand. Immigration authorities at the port of entry still reserve the right to refuse the entry into Thailand of any travellers with valid visa issued.
  6. Applicant from the Specified Passport Holders who do not have home/ residence country in Qatar is advised to apply for a Non-Immigrant visa only at the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General in their home/residence country or at the designated Royal Thai Embassy. Therefore, travellers are advised to contact the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate-General to find out where they may apply for a visa to Thailand before departure.
