Non-Immigrant O visa is issued to applicants travelling to Thailand to be with their family.

Duration of Visa Process: E-Visa processing time is up to 10 working days and up to 14 working days if required documents are incomplete. 

Apply for visa: https://thaievisa.go.th/  (from 19 March onward)

Visa Fee: 300 QAR (single entry) 

 

Required Documents:

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document (Passport/travel document must have validity of more than 6 months on travel date)
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
  3. Document indicating current location (Valid Residency Permit Card/QID)
  4. Travel booking confirmation
  5. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 30,000 THB (about 4,000 QAR) e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter Sample of Sponsorship letter / Word file
  6. Personal details of a family in Thailand, e.g. signed copy of ID card, passport and the visa page or stay permit in Thailand
  7. Proof of relationship to a family in Thailand, e.g. A copy of marriage certificate / birth certificate / certificate of adoption

 

Important Note:

  1. Visa fee is not refundable.
  2. At the port of entry, foreigners entering Thailand under the Non-Immigrant O visa category need to be able to provide proof of sufficient finances for the duration of stay in Thailand.
  3. Embassy staff/employees are not allowed to fill out any visa application form.
  4. The Embassy reserves the right to approve or disapprove visa application without any prejudice.
  5. The granting of visa is only a pre-entry clearance. It is not a permission to enter Thailand. Immigration authorities at the port of entry still reserve the right to refuse the entry into Thailand of any travellers with valid visa issued.
  6. Applicant from the Specified Passport Holders who do not have home/ residence country in Qatar is advised to apply for a Non-Immigrant visa only at the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General in their home/residence country or at the designated Royal Thai Embassy. Therefore, travellers are advised to contact the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate-General to find out where they may apply for a visa to Thailand before departure.
