On 21 December 2019, H.E. Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha attended the Students Friendship Sports Competition organized by the Thai Students Society in Qatar at Qatar University Sports Facilities. The Ambassador awarded the prizes to all winning teams in each sport category, for example, futsal, table tennis and relay. The Students Friendship Sports Competition is an annual activity organized for the second year by the Thai Students Society in Qatar and is fully funded by the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha with the aim to cultivate friendship among Thai-Muslim students and international students in Qatar and enhance students' teamwork skills through sports. Approximately 45 Thai and international students joined the activity.
