On 6 March 2020, H.E. Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, presided over the Thai Culture and Food Festival 2020 at the Royal Thai Embassy, Doha. The festival is an annual event organized by the Thai Language and Culture School in Qatar, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha and the Thai community in Qatar. The event  featured several Thai products and handicrafts, Thai food, Thai massage and spa, art and handicraft workshop and Thai fruit carving workshop. Approximately 300 visitors including members of diplomatic corps, Thai community and expatriates in Qatar attended the festival. At this event, H.E. Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, presented 50,000 Baht funding support from the Royal Thai Government to Miss Kongkan Chitrattanachinda, Principal of the Thai Language and Culture School in Qatar, to support its future activities.
