A Roundtable Discussion on How to Achieve Study-life-balance and being Participatory Citizenship

On 23 April 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy had organized a roundtable discussion on the way to happily balance study and personal life while living in Qatar. The discussion led by H.E. Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of Thailand, and Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem from Thammasat University. The meeting was well participated by 17 Thai-Muslim students living in Qatar. They also further discussed and exchanged views on the post-school or post-university life planning for becoming participatory citizenship.

Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem is renowned professor of political science who studied abroad and has devoted himself for the education of the younger generation. He shared his successful story with the Thai-Muslim students in Qatar so that they can adapt to the new environment and pursue their own successful story in the future. On the same occasion, the Embassy had discuss about the problems and obstacles the students faced while living in Qatar and encouraged them to study and participate more in activities with the Embassy.
