Fourteen members of Thailand national rugby sevens team, together with Mr. Prawit Monsereenusorn, Thailand national team manager, and Cdr. Tanyavit Kuasint, Thailand national team coach, are in Qatar to participate in the Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy 2017 during 3 - 4 March 2017 at Aspire Rugby Field, Doha. The team will compete in the first round on Friday, 3 March 2017 with Bangladesh national team at 17.21 hrs. and Iran national team at 19.36 hrs. If the team is qualified, the next round will be played on Saturday, 4 March 2017. 

 

On 1 March 2017, H.E. Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of Thailand, hosted dinner at the Ambassador’s residence to welcome and thank them for representing Thailand in the competition.
