On 9 June 2017, H.E. Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, presided over the ceremony to award the certificates to the students of the Thai Language and Cultural School in Qatar as well as to present the souvenirs in appreciation to volunteer teachers and those who supported the School’s activities for the past year. 

 

On this occasion, a grant from the Royal Thai Embassy of 6,313 Qatari Riyals was given to Ms. Kongkan Chitratanachinda, Principal of Thai Language and Culture School in Qatar, to be used for School’s activities. For the past 8 years, the Embassy has supported the School which plays a key role in teaching Thai language and promoting Thai culture to youths in Qatar. The ceremony was attended by over 60 people including Embassy’s officials, teachers, parents and students of the School.
